Who i am?
My name is Adilson Farias, a professional Brazilian illustrator for over 20 years. Since I was a child, I was passionate about art, inspired by comics and cartoons from the 80s. I started my journey around the 2000s working in publishing houses in my city, becoming self-taught and specializing in illustrations based on watercolor brushes, developing an artistic eye unique by practicing daily and studying works by renowned illustrators. I became prominent in the artistic scene in Brazil and around the world, with a unique approach that I developed over time combining watercolor and digital painting techniques.
These techniques resulted in vibrant illustrations that enchanted people of all ages. ‘’OPA’’, my first illustrated book demonstrates my unique way of illustration, portraying delicate subjects such as Alzheimer’s in a playful way for children. This book won the Brazilian AELIJ award for best children’s literary text in 2020, and was also recognized by the Jabuti Prize, the biggest children’s literary award in Brazil, as one of the 10 best texts of the year.
Why did i create my brushes packs?
After years of hard work and study in the illustration market, I found a unique way of portraying stories through watercolor art, changing the lives of thousands of people because of the unique communication I created through art. Watercolor illustration without a doubt changed my life completely, becoming one of the main pillars of my development as an artist, achieving everything I wanted most in my work.
So, I decided to take a bold step in my artistic career… I came to the conclusion that I should not only inspire, but teach many people to do what I do, color and illustrate in a loving, careful and fun way the common problems, pains and solutions in the life of every human being.
And as a mission, I decided to pass on my 20 years of knowledge and experience to all types of artists who aim for the same thing I had in my life, and inspire millions of people through the illustration of stories that teach us how to live…

Carefully developing watercolor brushes that reflected my illustration techniques in a way that could combine the experience and identity of the artist using these same brushes. This is how AF Brush Packs came about, packs of unique digital watercolor brushes so that anyone can make their identity and affection for art visual with brushes that age with the same purpose as the artist, coloring the world around them.
